SUBTA is the first and only trade association supporting the rapidly growing multibillion-dollar DTC subscription industry. With over 2,000 members and conference attendees, SUBTA is the industry’s leading voice and ally. SUBTA proudly hosts our 8th annual SubSummit Conference, which is scheduled for May 31- June 2, Dallas, TX. SubSummit is the largest direct-to-consumer subscription conference in the world. This annual experience brings subscription brands together to network, discover vendors, obtain exclusive data and learn best business practices.


Learning about the Role


SUBTA is seeking a Sales Representative that embodies a "go-getter" and "can do" attitude. This position will report directly to the Co-founder. The individual selected for this position will demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, teamwork, and have a professional demeanor. This position will be responsible for generating revenue (event sponsorships) from new leads (self-created) and converting them to Clients in accordance with SUBTA standards.


Job Description


  • Present and sell sponsorships for SUBTA's annual conference according to the budget
  • Develop a roadmap to ensure success in established sales goals
  • Maintain a sales pipeline with the use of a CRM 
  • Provide a minimum of 300 new leads per month
  • Convert a minimum of 10 meetings per week
  • Prepare and complete contracts
  • Identify and cultivate long-term business relationships with senior-level contacts.
  • Maintain a company standard net promoter score for sponsors
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on prospects, conversion rates, and overall revenue
  • Understand, embrace and promote the SUBTA values
  • Salary and commission-based role



Required Skills and Experience


  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience
  • Experienced and effective communicator with good presentation skills
  • Experience with a CRM, preferred experience with HubSpot
  • Experience with lead generation tools
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
  • Ability to identify business opportunities that will fit in with the sales and marketing strategy
  • Work may require travel to current and potential clients
  • Work requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule
