SUBTA is the first and only trade association supporting the rapidly growing multibillion-dollar DTC subscription industry. With over 2,000 members and thousands of conference attendees, SUBTA is the industry’s leading voice and ally. SUBTA proudly hosts our 8th annual SubSummit Conference, which is scheduled for May 31- June 2, Dallas, TX. SubSummit is the largest direct-to-consumer subscription conference in the world. This annual experience brings subscription brands together to network, discover vendors, obtain exclusive data and learn best business practices.

Job Description

SUBTA is looking for an Operation Intern ready to jumpstart their career with real-world experience and learn from a rapidly growing team. The intern will be focusing on facilitating a successful live SubSummit '22 event, & managing day-to-day operations within SUBTA.  

The Operations Intern will be focused on supporting the team in creating a unique experience for our event attendees, and helping foster new and existing relationships within the subscription industry. This position will work directly with the Operations Manager to ensure an overall seamless event experience for attendees, as well operational efficiency within the organization. Lastly, this role will also have a huge focus on providing value to our community members via phone, email, or in-person support.

Individuals should be able to contribute to a good work environment and team culture. 


  • Update weekly data tracking and provide team summary & analysis of membership metrics
  • Support Operations Manager in fulfilling & tracking sponsorship deliverables for SubSummit 
  • Provide customer service to the SUBTA community via ZenDesk support tickets, email, phone, and in-person (event) support. 


  • Current college student or recent graduate studying business, operations, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time-management skills, and ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end
  • Strong understanding of customer service, with enthusiasm to grow your skills, collaborate, and think creatively 
  • Dedication to professionalism and readiness to work closely with a fast-paced team
